The B.ay A.rea D.erby (BAD) opened their 2013 women's flat track roller derby season Saturday March 2 at the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond, California. The San Francisco ShEvil Dead defeated the Richmond Wrecking Belles 158-119 in a rematch of last year's title bout.

The Santa Cruz Derby Girls' Boardwalk Bombshells hosted the Sin City Rollergirls at the new Kaiser Permanente Arena on Saturday March 16, 2013. The crowd was the largest to watch a derby bout in Santa Cruz women's flat track derby history.

The Oakland Outlaws defeated the San Francisco ShEvil Dead 206-200 during the last doubleheader of the 2013 Bay Area Derby Girls regular season on July 13 at the Craneway Pavilion. The two teams will skate against each other for the 2013 B.A.D. Championship on August 17.

The Steamer Janes won the Santa Cruz Derby Girls' first Home Team Championship on Saturday June 27, 2015. The Steamer Janes defeated the Redwood Rebels 185-146 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium.

Berkeley Resistance defeated the San Francisco ShEvil Dead 193-108 on Saturday July 23, 2016. Berkeley will play Oakland for the Bay Area Derby league championship in August.

In the 2016 Bay Area Derby home season third place final, the Richmond Wrecking Belles defeated the San Francisco ShEvil Dead 164-150. The bout was held at the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond , California on Saturday August 27, 2016.

On Saturday July 15, Bay Area Derby held a BAD United "Battle of the Bay" roller derby bout between a Gold team and Black team at the Old 16th Street Train Station in West Oakland.

The Santa Cruz Derby Girls flat track roller derby league celebrated their 10 year anniversary on Saturday June 30, 2018 with a doubleheader versus the Monterey Bay Derby Dames and Bay Area Derby’s Oakland Outlaws at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium.
