The Vineman Triathlon, the "oldest ironman triathlon in the Continental United States, starts at Johnson's Beach in Guerneville. The 21st year of the Vineman started at Johnson's beach on July 31, 2010. After swimming the Russian River, contestants bike 112 miles before running a complete marathon.
