A young athlete from The Hilltop Speed Track Club helped me take this photo at the 2013 Tommie Smith Youth Track Meet at Edwards Stadium on the University of California Berkeley campus on Saturday and Sunday June 1-2, 2013. Tommie Smith broke the 200 meter world record at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics and became an international symbol for human rights when he received his Gold Medal.
